      Start: 25/02/2017

Housing Limits (4 per player)   02/20/18

Friendly reminder, we have a limit of 4 properties per player. This is to make it fair for all players and give everyone a chance of owning a property. It has been noted that some people have exploited the housing transfer system (be in intentional or not) and have managed to exceed this limit. This is a friendly warning that anyone who holds more than 4 properties has the opportunity to sell their excess properties now and move their items to their other properties. Anyone found with over 4 properties after this week will be at risk of having properties deleted without notice.

I personally think it'd be beneficial towards HAVOC to have their own siren and/or their own skin. I mention the siren because when a HAVOC member wants to do a stop on said vehicle, for the appointees. it may be difficult for them to determine if the HAVOC members are rebels or actually legitimate HAVOC members. Therefore having their own siren would make traffic stops a lot more easier, efficient and would in my opinion increase the foundations on roleplaying.

I agree with Cee majorly on this point, Sirens would be great... I once drove from CP to Pygros garage without even noticing the havoc guys following me

I completely agree with Cee on this point, I've had to follow people for up to 2km before and then had to pull in front of them because they hadn't noticed me. Huge +1 on this.

 - 1 to sirens. Havoc are not police and we don't want players getting that mixed up.

I do agree however that they should have something to make them more noticeable. A new skin that is not as close to rebel gear? Or maybe something like a loud horn?

The ArmA 3 Laws of War DLC has the ambulance in it. That ambulance has it's own custom "siren"  left click horn. Maybe there could be a way to move that horn onto a different vehicle or maybe just use reskinned ambulances, even though it'd be ineffective that's the only solution I see to not having any sirens at all

as far as I'm aware, they just need a sound that they can loop and use as a noise on any vehicle.

Havoc complains about our roleplay, however i do think that their initiation is very poor and for a whitelisted faction they should be saying more than "Stop" before shooting, i would like to see an improvement in their initiation so that i can actually go and speak to them and in a way "counter initiate" which could possibly improve the interactions between Seismic and Havoc.

Especially now that there is no way to jump the border (That i am aware off) i think this would make the interactions more fun and not just a gunfight.

Fair point and I agree, but it might be coming from the wrong person here.

A funny loop perhaps?

Nah for real, I too believe a siren of any kind would be beneficial, because it would let people know they are both being pulled over and by Havoc.

You're not getting sirens.

Military faction, not the Police.

How about role-playing with them instead of just trying to get into a firefight one way or another?

I understand how this siren idea would be off putting, but think of how much it'd decreased issues for the staff. You could be lead through HAVOC lands and before you know it you've been shot for not complying ( i.e driving off ).

A fair few of you will be thinking to yourselves as to what I just stated above; Well, what can you expect? If someone is going to whizz away when being told to pull-over by HAVOC then they got what they asked for.

My response to that is again; HAVOC are a military faction, it'd be more then obvious that from a far glance anyone will be able to stereotype HAVOC as some rebel armed to his teeth. Therefore we can't blame any civilian for not cooperating.

Now in case anyone of you state that fact of "Oh, well it's HAVOC, we'll obviously stop!", no, not exactly. Many things happen through roleplaying and let me just give you a little understanding as to why this'd benefit not only HAVOC but the whole community in general.

How would this change benefit the server/HAVOC having a siren?

It'd present to the new civilians of the island that in fact it, it isn't a bunch of rebels trying to steal their 'well minted diamonds', no. If you look deeply into this, a new player may not even understand why the island is divided into two sides. So think about it, having a siren would substantially encourage all civilians to cooperate in a roleplaying manner. No, I'm not saying  'lets copy the APC siren', not at all. But a unique siren what would differ from other factions.

As a military faction civilians should feel respected, and pleased that they have a 'lenient faction' looking over their shoulders, not some armed rebel running around with a MXM, mask and a bonus of 25x6.5mm rounds. To compensate this civilians should feel confident and not risk worthy of approaching, stopping or a fellow greeting to HAVOC.

You do have to take into consideration that HAVOC/HSOS is a military faction included with some special departments. Now, I see your point but when it comes to involving your character into a roleplaying life of a 'military personnel'  life is strict and it also involves many behaviours that are the actions to get involved with, Yes, they are very different. What you do have to consider is HAVOC is not only a military faction but it's its own instance, just like the slogan presents itself "Nobody, but us!".

Even tho it might be a lost case, you put a hell of a lot of effort into this. Thanks for trying mate :)

a military faction can indeed have sirens. Look at the MP they have sirens. HAVOC is not an infantry squadron or faction at all. So there should be place for a siren even if it's for 1 (patrol vehicle).

HAVOC should get another uniform and skins for vehicles, clothing etc. Its hard for New players to identify havoc members When they almost Look like normal rebels. Should Have some other colors like black, blue, white, red Idk something differens atleast
