Added 6.5 REDZONE rules 

6.5 Red Zone - These are areas on the map marked in RED and is a KOS (kill on sight) zone any persons armed or unarmed can be fired upon whist within the zone. You may not camp outside the red zone or spike the entrance and the exit of the red zone, you may also not shoot into the red zone whilst outside of the red zone. Player's cannot bring hostages into the red zone as its a KOS zone. VDM rules still apply within the red zone. If a Gun fight starts within the red zone it may continue out of the red zone as long as Rule 3.4 (End of Initiation) is not violated.

Previously:

4.6 Medical Custody - A medic has the right to place someone in medical custody once they are revived. If a person is in medical custody they cannot be robbed, ziptied, or initiated on.

Amended:

 

4.6 Medical Custody - A player being revived is automatically in medical custody until the medic has discharged them. whilst a person is in medical custody they cannot be robbed, ziptied, or initiated on

4.13 Attacking HAVOC -

  • The HAVOC checkpoint cannot be attacked when there are less than 5 HAVOC members at the checkpoint. You can also not initiate on a HAVOC member at the Checkpoint when there are less than 5 HAVOC members at the checkpoint.

Changed:  APC Rebel rule

4.14 Rebel Activity within APC lands- Police Offices are permitted to play as a rebel within APC lands whilst there are more than 10 APC officers currently on patrol. Police Command & Staff Members can catch you breaking this rule outside of Roleplay however Police Command will decide the punishment. When playing as a rebel you must consider this a new life, and information gained from this life can not be used whilst playing as a APC officer.

  • 7.1 Hacking Device - Once the hacking device has successfully hacked into the vault, you are free to engage on one another. Exceptions being:
    • If the cops and rebels have come to RP terms and the hacking device is placed within RP.
    • If the negotiator hasn't finished leaving or is mid RP, they must be allowed due time to leave.
  • 7.2 Police Numbers - The police cannot reduce the number to below 10 while the bank has started, this only applies when the bank has begun to be broken into or the rebels have begun RP with it.
  • 7.3 Rebels - Rebels must not message any officer to come online so they can do a bank operation. This is considered metagaming and is not permitted.
  • 7.4 Backup - Nobody other than the players involved (once the hacking begins) at the treasury are to join in (Including spotting) until the gold transport vehicle(s) have left the compound. At this point backup from either side may join the situation.
  • 7.5 Engagement - Anyone either armed or unarmed in the area who appear to be involved or abetting the robbery of gold may be engaged.

  • 8.3 Backup - Nobody other than the players involved (once the bolting begins) at the armory are to join in (Including spotting) until the weapon transport vehicle(s) have left the area. At this point backup from either side may join the situation.
  • 8.4 Engagement - Anyone either armed or unarmed in the area who appear to be involved or abetting the robbery of weapons may be engaged.

Combat reviving:

Previously:

4.5 Combat Reviving - This is where a medic or police officer revives someone during an active combat situation. Revives may only happen 3 minutes after the last shot was fired or other hostile action occurred.

Amended:

  • 1.15 Combat Reviving - This is where a person revives someone during an active combat situation. Revives may only happen 3 minutes after the last shot was fired or other hostile action occurred. Red zones are considered as an active combat situation and no one shall be revived within them.

The entirety of the Rules section has been reviewed and alterations have been made where required. We won't be listing all of the amendments here as there are a lot! We have aimed to promote roleplay more and have firefights as a last resort, but we understand combat is a part of altis life so have not completely removed it. We are trying to achieve a nice balance.

It's highly recommended you re-visit the rules section on the forum to familiarise yourselves with the changes, removals and additions. 

 

These changes are going to be reviewed and any complaints you may have I recommend you making a suggestion post on how we can make them better.
